“A Children’s Rainforest Odyssey” is a one hour program created from the David Taylor Dance Theatre’s nationally acclaimed multi-media production of “Rainforest”. Specifically designed for school children and families, the “Odyssey” features four major excerpts from the DTDT’s full-length production, combined with and environmental/educational narrative. The performance takes audiences on a magical journey through different levels of life in a tropical rain forest. Combining a brilliant original musical score, evocative choreography, special lighting effects, and stunning costumes and props, “A Children’s Rainforest Odyssey” has developed into one of the most popular performance programs in the twenty-seven year history of the David Taylor Dance Theatre.
